With the unseasonably warm weather I decided to go out and do a quick photo shoot. Broke all the rules with a f/2 aperture at high noon in direct sunlight.

I’m conflicted about the wheels, but I love the use of focus. That’s really cool.
What size are the wheels? The thick rim/short spokes are messing with my head.

18's. They were cheap and 19 pounds lighter while being an inch wider than factory.
I’m a form follows function kinda guy. The looks were secondary. Less rotational mass and a wider footprint was my primary concern with them.
I’m going to go with a thicker sidewall (right now it’s 265 35r 18 and I’ll go up to a 275 40 r18) to fill out the wheel well and drop it about an inch with some HDS coils. That’ll help a lot. But for $800 for all 4 including the Conti DWS tires, couldn’t say no.

You’ll like the coils btw - they feel really nice on the road, even crappy roads.

That’s really good news, the roads here are horrible. Other than HSD’s, I’m also considering Max Pro coils. But they may be perpetually out of stock.
